RE: BBO File No(s). B4-07-0024
(Anthony Jordan Marotta Esq.)
Dear Miss Chambers:
I would like to appeal and transfer
all information pertaining to BBO File No(s). B4-07-0024
for independent review as I am not satisfied with the
decision reached.
According to the
ABA Compendium of Professional Responsibility Rules and
Standards, The Model Rules of Professional Conduct
directly apply to any attorney, for they serve as models
of the regulatory law governing the legal profession.
On pages 19 &20 of the ABA Compendium,
The Preamble for Lawyers describes an attorney’s duty to
uphold the law and that they by their profession are
held to higher standards in terms of professional
conduct.
Attorney Marotta’s dishonesty and
misrepresentation of the facts in this case
(Commonwealth vs Chu-Cong) applies to when he changed
the trial date (please see Motion to Change Trial Date
and Letter dated May 25, 2006 Re: Public Records Request
from the DA’s Office) to have Reverend Joyce present to
testify as a rebuttal witness. The morning of the trial
Attorney Marotta did not allow Reverend Joyce to
testify. Attorney Marotta gave Reverend Joyce
disingenuous information (please see Rev Joyce’s
Affidavit) telling him he was unable to testify due to
the defense objecting. The defense did not object.
Furthermore, according to the court transcript, no
motion was ever filed before the court. (See Transcripts
Commonwealth vs Chu-Cong.) This is a violation according
to the ABA Compendium (Page 106) of Rule 4:1 (a).
Attorney Marotta did not tell me prior
to my giving testimony the plea bargain offered by the
defense. (Please see both Affidavits of Rev. Peter Joyce
and Kristi Seymour)
I will be interested in being notified
as to who will be examining this case at this stage. I
am also requesting all and any information generated on
this case.
Sincerely,
Sister Keri M. Burnor

Dear Miss Grant,
This is a complaint regarding the
letter of determination and closing the BBO File No(s).
B4-07-0024 (Anthony Jordan Marotta, Esq.) dated July 24,
2007 written in response to my grievance by Miss Sarah
A. Chambers.
Miss Chambers mislead and misinformed
me as to the Professional Responsibility Rules and
Standards, The Model Rules of Professional Conduct for
attorneys and my rights based on them.
Please accept this as my initiation
for a complaint in reference to Miss Chambers’ actions.
I respectfully request an independent review of Miss
Chambers’ investigation relating to my complaint against
Attorney Anthony Jordan Marotta.
I further base my request for this
complaint on Miss Chambers’ lack of proper standards of
operation for investigations and dishonesty.
Miss Chambers failed to interview any
supporting witnesses (the affiants, Reverend Peter Joyce
and Kristi Seymour) for which I took the liberty to
provide affidavits. As of August 2, 2007, neither
Reverend Peter Joyce nor Kristi Seymour received any
contact from Miss Chambers or anyone representing
investigations for the Board Bar of Overseers.
As a life-long citizen of
Massachusetts I had higher expectations of lawyers and
those serving in firms claiming to uphold justice and
having the concerns of the Commonwealth as their primary
goal and interest.
I respectfully ask receipt of this
letter.
Sincerely and gratefully yours,
Sister Keri M. Burnor
