Dear Neil,
I write to you in
regards to your messages that you wish to speak to the
Worcester Voice. You stated you want to “tell your side
of the story” and so the Worcester Voice wishes to
extend to you the opportunity.
I am reaching out to you
in the spirit of God’s Love, to allow you to set forth
in truthfulness and honesty your account in the
following as a fellow pilgrim in Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Neil, you
have stated the Blessed Mother Mary has called John J.
Szantyr a blessed priest and she has thanked him for his
blessings that he has given to the people who have
gathered at the prayer cenacles.
In charity
and as a member of Christ’s Body I ask: “How can it be
that the Blessed Virgin Mother would not know Fr John
Szantyr has been acting in direct contradiction to his
Bishop’s sanctions and the teachings of our Roman
Catholic Church?
Also, it is
the right of the faithful to know if Fr John Szantyr has
a letter from a Bishop that grants him faculties. I am
asking you to produce this letter for all to see.
Neil as
witnessed, Fr John Szantyr performed the annual
Pentecost Eucharist Celebration on May 27, 2007. When
questioned publicly your official reply as “the Head” of
the Seeds of Hope as you claim is given in guidance of
God, was less than truthful. You Neil answered “I could
not remember the last time he conducted services in my
home”. God’s teaching instructs those representing Him
to speak the truth.
Neil, if
your statue of the Blessed Mother truly weeps, we ask in
the interest of all the faithful (in matters of mystical
phenomena the Catholic Church teaches these phenomena
are no private matter) to allow us to test the tears so
those who hear your words will no longer linger in
spiritual uncertainty. It would seem you would
understand the rights the Church enjoys with regard to
fulfilling Her duty to protect the faithful in matters
of mystical phenomena.
Neil, you
made an agreement with Diocese of Hartford to no longer
disseminate your messages. Rather than keep your word,
you moved your proclamation to the Diocese of
Springfield. What is your explanation for this?
Neil, you
disclosure publicly of numerous physical healings
attributed to your claimed apparitions from 1992 to
present. We ask you to produce official medical
documents to support such alleged healings.
Neil, please produce transparent
financial disclosure to the Worcester Voice regarding
the support of the homeless you state the Seeds of Hope
conducts by means of the donations you solicit for the
books you produce.
Neil, the
State of Massachusetts has you listed as a nonprofit in
“bad standing” and the Federal Government denied your
tax exempt status in 1997. Display the documents which
you claim grant you privilege to act as a corporation
and as a religious organization without submitting
records for public view indicating you perform
charitable activities.
Neil, you
have sinned against those who choose to question your
apparitions. I seek for you to repent and speak the
truth of your sins, acknowledging in fact that you have
sought worldly goods over spiritual at the expense of
others’ good will and faith.
Our Lord
Jesus Christ has given you the opportunity to repent and
gain forgiveness; I urge you to take this opportunity
and not to twist the Lord’s words by proclaiming this is
a persecution leveled against you. I pray the souls
afflicted by this mockery of our Catholic Faith will
weigh heavily on you, so you can be given the grace to
repair this immense damage. For it is those who
earnestly sought God who have been persecuted and
exploited in their very innocence and docility. Once the
truth is revealed to your followers, they may be so
betrayed that some might well leave their faith as
statistically most do when steeped in spiritual abuse
and its effects. With all seriousness and believing in
God’s Mercy, I ask you to consider the souls weighing in
the balance as well as your own.
The greatest
mystery of our Faith is that for we who truly know we
have fallen short of the glory of God and confess our
sins that our Father lovingly anticipates our return. He
waits for us because He longs to clothe us with dignity
lost, to espouse us with ever-stronger bonds to His
Spirit, while ultimately feeding us with the nourishing
fellowship of the just to sustain us in our journeys to
Him. This is my prayer for you.
One in our Lord Jesus Christ
Mary T. Jean
